On this page we will talk about the way the Charger's played this week.Ok I think that the Charger's had a ok game this week, but as much as I like the Charger's I hate Drew "I SUCK" Brees he is the whole reason that the Charger's are 1-2 this season. Now about the players my man L.T did'nt really have a good game but that is ok because it is not he's fault that the Charger's lost ,I also thought that the rest of the team had good game and the defence had a great game. hopefully next week we will have a good game and come out with a win VS the Titans.

The San Diego Chargers open AFC West play this Sunday afternoon when they head to Invesco Field to face the Denver Broncos. Kickoff is at 1:05 p.m. PDT.

The Chargers come into the game with a record of 1-1 on the heels of a 34-28 loss to the New York Jets last Sunday in the Bolts’ home opener at Qualcomm Stadium. The Chargers fought back from an early 14-0 deficit and climbed within 27-21 midway through the fourth quarter, but the Jets answered back and put the game out of reach with a late touchdown.

The Broncos also come into the game 1-1 after suffering a heartbreaking 7-6 loss last Sunday in Jacksonville. Denver was driving for a potential game-winning score, but Quentin Griffin fumbled at Jacksonville’s 21-yard line with just 37 seconds left in the fourth quarter and the Jaguars ran out the clock for the victory.

CBS Sports (KFMB-TV, Channel 8) will carry the game live in San Diego with Dick Enberg and Dan Dierdorf calling the game. Armen Keteyian will report from the sidelines.

ROAD WARRIORS

The Chargers have been road warriors in 2004, going 3-0 on the road and 0-3 at home, including the preseason. The difference in those games has been turnovers. In the Chargers’ three wins away from San Diego, the team has a +4 turnover margin. In the three losses on their home field, the Chargers have a -6 turnover ratio.

Invesco Field has been a house of horrors for the Bolts since its opening in 2001. The Chargers are 0-3 in the stadium. One reason for the Chargers’ lack of success in Denver has been the Broncos’ ability to hold LaDainian Tomlinson in check. In the last three games in Denver, the Broncos’ defense has held Tomlinson to 29 yards rushing in 2003; 48 yards in 2002, and 75 yards in 2001. He also has not scored a touchdown against the Broncos in Denver.
